We are currently interviewing for a well-rounded, outgoing, Equipment Specialist join our team. Responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate would add to our existing base of in-house equipment restoration technicians.  In this fast-paced position, the individual will interact with equipment owners, vendors, consultants, and insurance company representatives to determine decontamination and repair options, and will assist in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of high technology electronics, medical equipment and mechanical/industrial equipment. This position calls for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys team interaction, problem solving, and a variety of new challenges.  While the successful candidate must have a solid technical background, Envista Forensics provides exceptional industry specific training.

Primary Duties

  • Perform restoration work of equipment including; disassembly, tagging parts, cleaning, rising, drying, re-assembly, testing and delivery of work goods
  • Maintain the highest standards in job performance, quality control, adherence to procedures, etc.
  • Perform quality testing on the work of others
  • Interact with the client, giving status reports, and develop trusting professional relationships
  • Maintain quality control standards as set by the company.
  • Packing, shipping and unpacking of equipment, tools, chemicals and safety equipment 
  • Repair and maintain tools and equipment necessary to the position
  • Over-see and maintain restoration facility warehouse in good order


Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel 75% of the time is required
  • 3+ years’ practical experience in service/repair or refurbishing, of electronics, or electromechanical equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting or maintenance of equipment
  • Associates degree in a technical discipline is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed
  • Organized with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interact socially and at mixed engagements with clients
